Job opportunity - Photographer, audio-visual and broadcasting equipment operator

Job Description:
We are seeking a full time photographer and audio-visual equipment operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will bring their specialised knowledge and skills to an emerging production team and studios.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up cameras, lighting, and sound equipment for shoots, composing shots, adjusting camera settings, and capturing images and video footage.
- Managing and operating various audio-visual equipment like projectors, recording devices, and mixing consoles.
- Using software to edit and enhance images, and potentially using video editing software to create final productions.
- Ensuring all equipment is used safely and adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Identifying and resolving technical problems related to cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Working with other crew members and production staff, taking direction, and contributing to the overall production process.
Qualifications:
- RQF Level 3 qualification or higher (equivalent to A-levels, BTEC Nationals, or Advanced vocational training in equipment operation).
- Proven experience operating cameras, lighting equipment, sound equipment, and digital editing software.
- Skills in adjusting camera settings, managing sould levels, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Understanding of audio-visual support for conferences, concerts, and other events.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to compose visually appealing shots and understand aesthetic principles.
